Yates' Brewery

In the year 2000, Dave Yates finally got his dream to own his 5-barrel brewing plant and install it in a converted room on the side of the late Inn at St Lawrence pub in Ventnor on the Isle of Wight.

Armed with his Years of brewing knowledge and Ingredients bible, his aim was to supply a dozen or so pubs across the Isle of Wight. Since then Dads plant has doubled in size and so have the brewery premises.

Now the brewery is based in Newchurch; you can find our ales in most outlets across the Isle of Wight.

In 2001, Dave’s Son David Yates (Jnr), joined the company with a vision to form a wholesale drinks company to operate alongside the brewery.

Working out of a small depot on Dean Farm in Whitwell, the wholesale side rapidly became a success by offering a same-day delivery service 7 days a week.

In 2004, the business had no choice but to move to bigger premises in Newchurch alongside the brewery.

This helped to increase our already expanding product range and we can now offer a range of over 3000 products and we continue to supply over 300 licensed premises across the Isle of Wight.
